Anu Holopainen

Anu Holopainen (s. 1968) on kirjoittanut 29 romaania sekä useita novelleja lapsille, nuorille ja aikuisille. Tuotanto painottuu spekulatiiviseen fiktioon, ja tuorein teos on toukokuussa 2024 ilmestyvä, tekoälyä käsittelevä tieteisromaani Salome.

Holopainen on Suomen Kirjailijaliiton kirjallisen lautakunnan jäsen, ja aiemmin hän on toiminut Suomen lasten- ja nuortenkirjailijat ry:n johtokunnan jäsenenä sekä varapuheenjohtajana.

 

Anu Holopainen (b. 1968) has written 29 novels and several short stories for children, young people, and adults. She writes mostly speculative fiction, and her latest work Salome, a science fiction novel about artificial intelligence, was published in May 2024.

Holopainen is a member of the Literary Committee of the Union of Finnish Writers, and she has previously served as board member and vice-chair of the The Finnish Union of Authors Writing for Children and Youth.
