Oili Sainila

Oili Sainila (b. 1948) holds a master’s degree and is a lecturer in Finnish emerita. She worked as a teacher for 39 years and retired from Tampere Classical High School. Creative writing studies in the Viita Academy (2014-2016) gave her purpose and
determination as a writer. She has published two volumes of poetry through the publishing house Sanasato (2018 and 2019). She has been a member of Pirkkalaiskirjailijat since 2019.
