Accreditation LIWRE 2026

Accreditation is now closed. However, you are warmly welcome to attend the public sessions of the Reunion on 12 and 13 June without registration and free of charge — from Friday morning’s opening session through to the International Poetry Evening on Saturday.

Our theme this year: Words for a Reason

The event is unique in the literary world in that it is based on mutual open discussions between writers on the given theme.

During two Reunion days (Friday and Saturday) there are four sessions, each consisting four short keynote speeches by Finnish and international guests. The sessions are moderated by Finnish authors Riina Katajavuori and Mila Teräs. All speeches and discussions are simultaneously interpreted into Finnish and English through headphones by professional interpreters.

As the accreditation period has ended, we kindly ask you to contact us directly by email. If you wish to participate, please get in touch with us at paasihteeri@liwre.fi to complete your accreditation. We will guide you through sending your details, including a photograph and a short introduction.

The participation package includes three nights in the 4-star Solo Sokos Hotel Lahden Seurahuone, with breakfasts, lunches, dinners and the festival materials with participants’ introductory information and programme, plus supplementary programme for participants only.

The price for participants is 425€ per person for a single room, or 325€ per person in a double room.

The reservations are to be confirmed by paying the participation fee on May the 12^th at the latest. If you cancel your participation after this date, we will charge 50% of the participation fee until May the 15^th, after which the whole amount will be non-refundable.
