Liwre 2026 will take place from June 11 to 14, 2026, in Lahti, Finland. Public discussion events will be held on Friday and Saturday in the former Folk High School’s assembly hall. Registration for literature professionals will open in early April 2026.
The theme of the conference is “Words for a Reason.” This year, the literary focus will be on the Baltic Sea region, with particular attention to the Baltics and the Nordic countries.
