Johanna Venho

Johanna Venho studied biology and literature in Jyväskylä and Helsinki and holds a master’s degree. She has worked for the YLE (The Finnish public broadcasting company) teletext service as a freelance editor, been the editor-in-chief at Tuli&Savu
poetry magazine, written pieces for cultural magazines , translated children’s books, taught creative writing and worked as book editor for publishers. Her poems have been translated into English, French, Italian, Hungarian, Estonian, Czech and Slovak.
