Ben Kalland

Ben Kalland has written a novel for young adults called Villihaukka, and the novel Vien sinut kotiin, published in English by the name Ellen’s Song (2018). It is the first novel in the Finnish language about the Jehova’s witnesses community, and the first in the whole world to describe the higher echelons of the movement’s headquarters in New York in fiction. Music and the archipelago of southern Finland are also well represented in the book.
