Arian Leka

Arian Leka (1966) is a poet, prosaist, essayist and author of childrens’ books. He has a PhD in literary theory and is a lecturer at the University of Tirana. He has been awarded several times by the Albanian Authors’ Association and by the Ministry of culture for both poetry and prose. His story Brothers in razor (Vëllezër në brisk) received international attention after it was published in the anthology Best European Fiction 2011. Leka is a founding member of the publisher Poeteka which is also the organizer of the Poetsia-festival.
