Anni Kytömäki

Anni Kytömäki (b. 1980) is a writer from Hämeenkyrö, Finland. She has also worked in different non-governmental organizations, and as a musician. She loves to walk in the forest, and along quiet country roads, listen to the wind, and look for stories that could have been true. Her debut novel Kultarinta (2014) was shortlisted for the Finlandia Prize. The second novel Kivitasku was published in 2017. Both stories take place mainly in the past, which attracts her at least as much as the present.
