Mila Teräs

Mila Teräs is author from Orimattila, Finland (b. 1975 in Lahti). She writes for children, young readers and adults. She has published 21 books, from picture books to novels written for adult readers. She has been shortlisted for several literary prizes, and also been translated into German.

She has an M.A. in Finnish literature from Tampere University. She takes her inspiration from nature, travel, history, visual arts, books, magazines, stories people tell, and children.
