Aleksander Motturi

Aleksander Motturi (1970) is a Swedish writer and director of Clandestino Institute where independent critical, educational and artistic programs are presented. After finishing a doctoral thesis in philosophy on Wittgenstein’s remarks on James G. Frazer (Filosofi vid mörkets hjärta – om Wittgenstein, Frazer och vildarna) he has written several novels, the latest of which is Onåbara (2017), essays and plays and directed Thaumazein, an essay film based on an interview with deported refugee Peter Ekwiri – the encounter with him also gave birth to Clandestino festival.
