Reidar Palmgren (b. 1966) is a Finnish actor living in Tampere whose debut novel Jalat edellä (Feet first) came out this spring. It has met with a warm response from readers and critics alike. The novel's main character is a successful lawyer who thinks mostly about himself. In second place comes his son, who ends up in a road accident. This original tale of father and son is a skilful balance between tragedy and comedy. Palmgren has been seen in numerous theatre roles on television and all over Finland.
