Sierzh Minskievitch (b. 1969) is a Byelorussian poet, songwriter and translator.
Together with Zmitser Vishniou, he established the literary and artistic
group Boom-Bam-Lit., within which he has created the literary-artistic
method he calls translogism. Minskievitch has published a collection of
poems Praz galereju (1994, "Through the Gallery") and the short
prose work Absurdelki (1994, "Little Absurdities"). His writings
have been translated into Russian, English, Spanish, Polish, Czech and
Swedish. Minskevitch is a graduate of the Department of Philology of the
State University of Byelorussia and is currently junior researcher at
the Institute of Literature of the Academy of Science of Byelorussia.
He is also a long-standing contributor to the Kultura and Perhacvet literary
magazines. |
