Nina Malinovski (b. 1951) comes from Denmark and has published six poem collections since 1981, year of the debut, Fri Tid, and her latest one, På vandets vegne, came out in 1997. She has received various literary awards in Denmark. A selection of her poems was translated into Swedish in 1988, as was her fifth collection Forandringer in 1994. She has also taught literature and creative writing at different schools and written plays and scenarios for theatre, television and radio, plus in 1997 the libretto for the opera Dronningen af Blåtårn.
