Seppo Jääskeläinen |
Seppo Jääskeläinen (b. 1939) is a Finnish writer living in Lahti who has published five novels, most recently last autumn Muutot (Moves, 2000). His sixth novel Sodan vanki (Prisoner of war) is due to appear next autumn. In his novels, Jääskeläinen describes postwar Finland. Everything is in short supply, apart from work, but faith in the future is strong. He has also written plays, portraits and histories.
