Jaakko Heinimäki

Jaakko Heinimäki (b. 1965) is a Finnish vicar and journalist from Helsinki. He has won the resounding praise of readers and critics alike with his five books of essays, in which saints, religion, the seven deadly sins and humour are treated with a perceptive and lighthearted touch. In his latest work Pyhä nauru - Kirjoituksia uskonnosta ja huumorista (Holy laughter - Articles on religion and humour, 2000) Heinimäki develops the theme familiar from his earlier works of the relationship between religion and humour.
