Róza Domascyna |
| Róza Domascyna is one the most important Sorb writers. She was born in 1951 in Sernjany. After having graduated from a commercial institute and becoming mining economist, she worked for a long time in the Knappenrode brown coal mines. In 1985-89 she studied at the literature institute of Leipzig, after which she became an independent writer. She writes both in Sorbic and in German- In 1994 she was awarded the Mörike prize by the town of Fellbach and in 1995 the Sorb Cisinski prize. |
