The Frenchman Marc Baron (b. 1946), who studied philosophy and theology, has published ten collections of poems, lastly Désir Nomade this very year. His debut dates back to 1975, Que la transparence nous vienne. Since 1985 he is in charge of literature at the Centre Culturel Juliette Drouet in Fougères (Ille et Vilaine). He also organises poetry events, teaches creative writing, is a member of numerous literary juries and leads Salon du Livre Jeunesse, which belongs to the most important salons of Brittany.
